There is a plethora of books out there on Management styles and theories. Most of us have read a lot of them. We are all looking for that Magic Bullet which will make our Success eminent. Well, here is the Magic Bullet: there ISN’T one!
You have to look deep inside yourself to find the Magic. It IS in there, you just have to find it and pull it out.
I think it is important, vital even, that you read as many books and articles on Management, Leadership and Training. Read anything and everything that is important to your field. It is also essential that you take that information and make it work with YOUR personality and YOUR style. Why would you try to copy someone else? You are unique and you have your own style and personality. Trying to be someone else, someone that you’re not, will never work.
We spend at least as much, if not more time at work than we do with our families. You know your significant other pretty well I would imagine. What makes them happy or angry, their likes and dislikes. You know and remember birthdays and anniversaries (hopefully!).
How well do you know the people that you work with? Do you put the same effort into your work relationships that you do in your personal relationships?
If not, why not? Since you spend so much time with your work family as you do with your private family, wouldn’t it make sense to build that work relationship?
Every aspect of our lives revolves around the relationships we create and cultivate. Successful relationships take work. I can help you find solutions to create winning relationships both at home and at work.
It would make your day and life a lot easier!
